Okay perhaps I have too much time on my hands or I care too much. Whatever the case, when I have an event coming up I always think what do I want to wear? What color do I want to wear? What is the feeling I am going for? So, for everyone out there that struggles with what to wear and how to look, a great way to fix that is with a mood board. In these two instances I did it with color. You can get a vibe off each one and start to think what you want. Am i tough, sexy, cute ?? This is a great way to have a little fun with your powerpoint and get a clear vision on what you want!
A NYC native, Scotty caught the fashion bug early working for major retailers throughout New York. With over ten years in visual merchandising and styling there was no doubt that fashion is where he was meant to be. After a break from the retail end he really began to focus on styling as much as possible. Constantly reading and learning as much as he can about the ever changing billion dollar industry. At 27, he is currently the manager of a boutique in Chelsea where he is able to harness all the skills he has learned throughout the years such as buying, merchandising, administrative work and selling. No matter the subject, Scotty is never afraid to voice his opinion.
