Make-Up 101: The Correct Use of a Highlighter

Any wee girl who hits Duty Free comes back with a Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Radiant Touch highlighter. Here is the craic on how to use a highlighter properly!

RULES TO REMEMBER LADIES!

1. Wash your face. See my earlier blog post on optimal skin care at http://craicstyle.blogspot.com/search/label/Charlotte%27s%20Beautiful%20Beauty%20Tips
2. Apply your foundation clearly and evenly. Don't go insane. Step away from the Double Wear, girls.
3. I use a liquid highlighter. I place three dabs on the highest part of each cheekbone and tap it in lightly with my finger until the liquid is blended. TAP, DON'T RUB.
4. Dab dots of highlighter along your hairline. Tap, tap, tap.
5. Put a wee, tiny bit on the middle of the bridge of your nose. More tapping. Do not place highlighter on the tip of your nose or you will look like a Christmas tree ornament.
6. Put a wee dab above the bow of your upper lip. This will accentuate and/or create fullness. Tap away.
7. Put a dab of highlighter under your eyebrows. Tap outwards.
8. Proceed with the rest of your make-up application.

Remember girls: Less is more. Less tranny, more lady.
