 Like most shoe lovers I have been a fan of Nicholas Kirkwood and his innovative designs for quite some time now. He never stops creating beautiful footwear that pushes the envelope and looks significantly different from most other designers. While I am not a fan of a chunky heel (please don't bring back the 90's) this one just works. It could be because of his pairing with fame designer Erdem that these shoes really work. The soft, abstract, murky beautiful print paired with the black and clear acetate heel makes for a stunning masterpiece. The pump contains a 4.5 inch heel with a 1 inch concealed platform. WOW! This is one of those red carpet moments that people wont soon forget. It's also one of those moments that can shape a young movie stars career. Rachel McAdams followed up her first Cannes appearance (Rachel McAdams is Wonderful in White) with a show stopping red lace laser cut out gown that is what else but signature Marchesa. She paired her sheer gown with jewelery from Bulgari. From the minimal makeup to soft hair and subtle jewelry she lets the dress do the talking.
