Inspiration struck manicurist Terri Silacci when one of her children brought a piece of snakeskin home from science class. "It took about six months to perfect the whole process," she says of the "Pedicure With Snakeskin" now being offered at her salon, Nail Lounge in the Euphoria Lounge Salon & Spa in Monterey, California. "I learned how to disinfect the skin and how to apply it just right." After listing the service on the salon's menu, Silacci says her clients asked to see exactly what it would look like, so she hired a photographer and models…and a live snake!…to demonstrate the service.
