I wouldn't say that metallic is a trend...they are a constant staple but every now and then they find themselves at the fore front of runways and you're favorite celebrities. Just because you don't have a red carpet or runway doesn't mean you shouldn't be strutting down the street with a little extra sheen!

CLICK THE PIC FOR A CLOSER LOOK
Well hello again ladies! The sun is shining and I can't think of a better excuse to go out and shop! Not that I ever need an excuse but in any case while out this weekend, why not try something a little different. Keep your eyes peeled for printed pants. A trend that you will see plenty of this season; you may have already noticed it on your favorite celebs like Nicki Minaj and Jessie J. While those ladies can take the trend to the highest of extremes, try to keep your look a tad more simple. The great thing about a printed pant is there are an abundance of colors to pull from to compliment the rest of your ensemble. Use the four looks above as inspiration! Enjoy! X

Craic Look for Less
So I have had a crush on these Dolce & Gabbana perforated logo sneakers (left) for a hot minute now but at $445.00 available at Saks I can think of so many other things I would rather buy. I was more then happy today to stumble upon these Generic Surplus Borstal Mesh sneakers (right) available at Top Shop for a fraction of the cost at $120.00. What makes them even better is the mesh will let your feet breathe through those gross NYC nights while looking cool. What do you think? Which pair would you buy?

Okay, this is one is for the guys! Check out these sexy shades from Diesel. The plastic wayfarer style is perfect for Spring and Summer and adds just that extra splash of color and style to any outfit. Color blocking is huge this season and if you are too timid to rock it in your clothing, these contrasting colors give you the look without going overboard. Get them now at Saks for $120.00
Check out these amazing sandals from Zigi Shoes. The Epiphany sandal could easily be a dead ringer for a Jimmy Choo sandal but you wont die over the price. At $81.00 the 5" shoe is easily affordable to most and can be found at ZapposThis shoe is definitely a statement but can easily work for a casual look paired with jeans or your favorite cocktail dress to add an extra edge. Enjoy!
While the weather isn't exactly warm yet, you can definitely start to make temperatures rise with a trend that will be everywhere over the next few months; sheer blouses. The trick from making them look trashy is to pair it with edgy sophisticated pieces or lady like prints and cuts. The most important thing is to make it look effortless as opposed to looking like something out of the Jersey Shore. Look to your favorite celebrities like Beyonce', Kim Kardashian and Hilary Duff for inspiration. What do you think will be you sheer sexy this season?

A NYC native, Scotty caught the fashion bug early working for major retailers throughout New York. With over ten years in visual merchandising and styling there was no doubt that fashion is where he was meant to be. After a break from the retail end he really began to focus on styling as much as possible. Constantly reading and learning as much as he can about the ever changing billion dollar industry. At 27, he is currently the manager of a boutique in Chelsea where he is able to harness all the skills he has learned throughout the years such as buying, merchandising, administrative work and selling. No matter the subject, Scotty is never afraid to voice his opinion.
More than any other single artist, Britney Spears was the driving force behind the return of teen pop in the late '90s.She is a bona fide pop phenomenon. Not only has she sell millions of records, she is a media fixture regardless of what she is (or isn't) doing
