I absolutely love feathers...after a seeing one of Oscar De La Renta's gowns as young boy at The Museum of Natural History not only have i been infatuated with design..I also developed a feather fetish! The way they move on the body is just so eloquent and soft. It's almost magical. If you have been paying attention you may have noticed that in addition to a dark lip, feathers were all over the Met Ball on Monday night. While Beyonce got it totally wrong, Kate Bosworth got it so right in a custom Prada cocktail dress made of navy and bordeaux feathers. So before you go out there trying to replicate this emerging trend take a look at the four looks above to see how to do it right.
