With so many friends moving out, moving on and moving up in the world, I thought it would be a great time to post something like this. Ever stumped about how to decorate your home? It's really not that hard. Just take a peak in your closet. Your answers are right there. Find your favorite items and then look at the story they tell. From there you can figure out what your style is and how to get into your space. You might discover a few things you didn't even know about yourself. Perhaps you are like piece one. A girlie, bohemian chic nature lover like the set of Better With You If that is the case choose bright colors, accessories with texture, plants and natural wood pieces. If you are more conservative and minimalistic chic, go ahead and choose simple pieces with metallic flair much like the set of Fairly Legal. Go for neutral colors and no clutter! If you are the casual tee shirt and jeans girl think of sets like How I Met Your Mother. Fun, bright and lived in. Comfort is key. Choose great textiles that you relax with friends in and wont be afraid to spill a few beers. Sometimes you might be like me and a mish mosh of all three. Go ahead and go nuts but looking to your closet is great way to narrow down your search and find what you love so you don't have to redecorate every six months....like me...who learned the hard way.
