It doesn't matter if you love her...or capitol H.E.R!! Everyone will be talking about Lady Gaga's new video for the lead single "Born This Way" off the album of the same name. Premiering this morning with an acoustic video still to be released later today the mini movie has Gaga dancing hard and fierce with choreography from Laurie Ann Gibson. Directed by Nick Knight the vid is full with heavy imagery and light on the hautre couture. Despite wearing big names like Alexander McQueen in past videos like "Bad Romance" this video was light on the fashion fair and heavy on her message. With refrences to hell, guns shooting marajuana, symbols, the oppresive chains that bind her and her little monsters, the birth of evil and new races and yes kids...unicorns you have to admit she has done it again. The video is a direct message to her fans to let go and be free which she tells them every night on stage. The video is pretty spectacular and oddly beautiful at the same time. It does exactly what Lady Gaga wants us to do; talk, think and listen. Hopefully with this song being number one in fourteen countries, it will make the world think about how the LGBT community is treated. It is amazing how one 23 year old pop singer is changing the world when the leaders of the world are consistantly failing us. So thank you Gaga for another dance anthem and for something for us to believe in. Watch the "Born This Way" video below!
