Craic'y Must Have: Mens Spring Edition

CLICK THE PIC FOR A CLOSER LOOK

So Spring is trying well...spring and I am already looking ahead to what I will be wearing. So here is a little guide for all my guys out there on what to look for when shopping this season. Hetero and Homo Friendly!

1. Design Your Own Tee - Urban Outiffters. Put your own stamp on the basic tee by saying whatever you want. Whether it's Gaga Backlash, Political, Raunchy or Something Silly. Be one of a kind in your one of a kind tee.
2. The Motorcycle Jacket - ASOS Whether you can fight or not...(I can't) you will certainly look the part in this bad ass jacket. Adding a little mystery and sex appeal to ones wardrobe never hurt anyone
3. The High Top - Factory 413. Justin Beiber and Usher pull it off well and it makes you realize it doesnt matter if your pushing a mid life crisis or going through puberty this looks good on just about everyone and anyone!
4. The Tailored Short - Top Man. Now if you know me you know I am all about the tailored short. Crisp, clean and comfortable it adds a little polish in the heat. In the last year or so it is perfectly acceptable as nightlife attire. Just pair with a button down and some keds...(my signature summer style)
5. The Trench Coat - ASOS. Timeless you will have this forever! Pair it with jeans and converse when running around town or with your suit when off to the office you will be chic wherever you go
6. Ray Bans- Saks Fifth Avenue.  "You got that hair slicked back and Wayfarers on baby" Designed for the Boys of Summer add a little retro glamour to your style with the classic sunglass that comes in a multitude of colors
7. Draped Shirt- ASOS Now, now I know many many people already that hate this trend but it's time to try something different. Add a little dimension to the basic tee with some intresting draping or cowel necks. In a sea of deep v's it will help you stand out in a crowd.
8. The Shopper. ASOS Running to the market or just around town everyone is trying to be eco friendly. Personally I do not leave home without a bag let alone to the grocery store with out my MBMJ tote to carry my carbs home. So look for something just with a little kick to it like this studded shopper, or even Marc Jacobs affordable printed totes
9. The Polo- Saks Fifth Avenue. Always a classic. Always in style. Try on a polo for a hint of polish this Spring. Give your printed tee a night off and throw on a polo. Stick with basic white or black or stand out with a little pop of color like this Marc by Marc Jacobs
10. The Black Skinny Jean- Top Man. Skinny jeans are here to stay...let's be clear...they should be fitted not jeggings ie: Ricky Martin's silver Grammy look. Black is perfect for those nights when you want to look a little more polished then a pair of blue jeans but don't want to feel like a wanker in dress pants
11. The Printed Cardigan- Forever 21. A gals best friend. I love me a cardigan...I probably wear one every day come to think of it but it is time to think about spicing it up. Look for bold prints like the one above to make you stand out in a sea of solid t's and cardigans.
12. The Statement Sunglasses- Carrera. Whether you are rocking your ray bans or not I like it when you have that one or two pairs of sunglasses that can add a pop of color and interest to an outfit. I have some baby blue Wayfarers from Urban that I adore and are just fun to wear. My next piece will be these bad boys!
13. The Brown Shoe- ASOS. Lighten up. Ditch the basic black for some brown shoes for a more casual but still pulled together look
14. The Beaded Bracelet- ASOS. Add a little bohemian touch with some beaded bracelets. Perfect with just a tee shirt and jeans or a beater and shorts it adds just a hint of visual interest. Just try to avoid what I always do which is wearing about a 1000 of them at once. There not silly bandz.
15. The Necklace - ASOS Men just don't wear enought jewlery. Start. Enough said.
