Your favorite celebs came out to play at the Critics Choice Awards in L.A. last night. I am happy to say that there weren't any huge disasters for a change...no major winners either. Emma Stone wiped the floor clean with them. Lets start with everyones favorite The Kardashians.Khloe Kardashian had jungle fever...(guess she read my earlier post Craic'y Trend Urban Jungle ) and she looked great minus the shoes just a little to heavy for the airy outfit, but she was definitely giving sister Kim Kardashian a run for her money for a change. Kim wore a burnt orange Vera Wang gown that wasn't my favorite dress in the world. It kind of seemed like a failed Project Runway dress. However it was nice to see Kim breathing normally as opposed to being sucked into one of her way too tight mini's. Mila Kunis in Nina Ricci tried to jazz up her lbd with some accesories and a strappy shoe but missed the mark. The shoe made her look shorter, which in turn makes her look wider and the accesories were just blah. Amy Adams went for some vintage glamour and while I think that ackward neckline overwhelmed her a bit, she still looked pretty and polished. Then there is my little girl from the creek Michelle Williams. I love her, she is so confident in her style and isn't trying to be anyone except who she is. She looked fantastic in her Balenciaga dress (popular on the carpet Emma Stone wore the same) and canoodled with Blue Valentine co star Ryan Gosling who looked hot in a purple velvet Feragamo jacket. Jadore! Finally is Emily Blunt who seems to have taken a cue from Michelle Williams. Sequin? Check Bow? Check. It just didnt work for me. The cut out on the Azzaro gown had no buisness being there. The bag was wrong the eye makeup needed to be stronger. Ahhh she was such a contender for style icon when she first burst on the scene a few years ago.. What happened?? Winner: Emma Stone who dazzled and got it right from head to toe and looked young and Easy. She gets an A.(See her here Emma Stone Sparkles In Silver) Loser: Kim Kardashian, I just cant get past the dress, her skin and jewlery were fantastic but the dress just looked cheap and for Vera Wang to look cheap then something is wrong...could it have something to do with being on a Kardashian??? Hmm
