Craic Carpet Review: Golden Globes

Anyone else have a fashion hangover this morning?? Lets jump right in shall we. It was great to see so many ladies in color last night. Pinks, reds, blues, greens the ladies really brightened up the carpet. While a lot of people had gorgeous dresses, I felt no one got it exactly right but a few stand outs. Perhaps I expect too much? But shouldn't I!?! I don't think its too much to ask for that with a team of gays and a ton of money that these ladies are perfect from head to toe. Take a look at my best and worst below

Best Dressed
Catherine Zita Jones brought major drama to the carpet in a green Monique Lhuliier ball gown that was to die for. Leighton Meester in an understated nude Burberry Prosum dress and I am still having chills over that Louis Vuitton bag. Amy Adams in her one shoulder Marchesa laser cut gown was simply stunning. Lea Michele for bring her bubbly perfection to a bubble gum pink Oscar De La Renta gown. Mila Kunis (in Vera Wang) and Angelina Jolie (in Versace) in their green gowns although I would have prefered a red lip and a smile on Kunis. I mean if Angelina can crack a smile there is no reason you can't Mila. Also I loved Sandra Bullock, Emma Stone, Eva Longoria and Anne Hathaway

Worst Dressed
This catagory is always the easy one  now isn't it!? Obiously Julianne Moore in Lanvin. The dress was not right for her skin tone, overpowered her and to be honest looked uncomfortable. That neckpiece looked like it was too tight and she couldnt move her head. Jane Krakowski in Badgely Miscshka; I know your pregnant and that poses challanges however the dress made you look ver wide. A front seem that opened up would have enhanced your figure a one shoulder that sat on your shoulder would have brought the eye up not to the side. However the color was gorgeous. Fellow prego Natalie Portman didn't win any votes with me either in Victor + Rolf. The dress was lovely the hair and accesories is really what bogged it up. Other honorable mentions, Julie Bowen, Christina Hendricks, Christina Aguilera (how did she breathe or sit in that dress?) Michelle Williams and Jennifer Lopez

Next up the the SAG Awards on January 30th followed by the Oscars on February 27th
