I adore Julianne Moore. I think she is beautiful and talented. With that said when I think of her I think, Lanvin, Dior, Chanel, Bulgari I don't think Talbots. Now I understand that companies are looking for big names to bring their struggling brands new life. Naomi Watts and Heidi Klum have each had campaigns for Ann Taylor, but I mean...they really don't have much going on. So I am just tre' confused why Julianne Moore would do a campaign for the brand. Must have been one fat check!! She is high fashion and why there is nothing particulary wrong with Talbots, it is a smidge...matronly. I suppose though with the right accesories you could take anything from any store and make it yours and fashion forward. There is certainly no denying that she looks marvelous in these ads. They are so soft, tranquil and the saturated colors and set make it seem more like a high end editorial spread then an ad campaign. So kudos! Now the proof will be in the pudding.
