Through my wonderful adventures in old London town I was blessed to have met the amazing and wonderfully talented designer Anna Scholz . With her statement colourful pieces; her style is unique only to her . Anna Scholz creates expertly cut and embellished garments in luxurious and tactile fabrics. She develops and uses striking prints and bold colours to create sophisticated, beautiful collections. Rails in the showroom spill over with animal prints, Silks, velvets, feathers, rhinestones and Cashmere. It is paradise for any woman who expects luxury and originality from their wardrobe .
My whole life growing up I was always a curvy girl and I never felt that the fashion industry ever thought of bigger girls as fashion forward or stylish , to the world of fashion a square blouse is what we deserve because we are bigger. We should cover up and hide in doors with boxy unflattering fashion and like that, it takes away your sexuality your personality and your style. It spoils your beautiful curves for the world to see, and in turn makes you feel different from other girls like an out sider believing that only skinny girls have and only should have great style .
Then like a rebel comes a designer like Anna Scholz wonderful and fearless , to show off your curves to the world is her mission and damn does she do it in a unique and sexy style. She is a woman at the fore front of plus size fashion, a leader and God does she make fabulous clothes to excentuate your curves and show off your best bites; the boobs and the bootay .
I have been lucky enough to bag an interview with this amazing lady , enjoy the glamor because this lady is all dynasty, all the way .
So tell me about yourself ? what drives you ?
I have inbuilt ambition ! I have always been driven and determined to create something and follow my passion to make women of non-standard sizes look and feel more beautiful.
what is your personal style ?
It depends on the occasion, i like dressing up for different moods and events. I guess I am a little boho hippie de luxe and in summer my favourite look would be a floor length printed maxi dress with gold sandals and long flowing hair and in winter I love Mongolian lambskin edges leather coats , with studded jumpers , jeans and boots.... I have to say owning a dog and walking her in the park every day has changed my view on footwear...
how did you get into the industry ?
I started making my own clothes when I was 13 ( I was 6ft tall and a size 16UK) and was then discovered as a plus size model at 17, so saw how lacking the industry was of style and fun and simply good clothes , hence my vision of my own label was born.
What drew you to the industry ?

What is the hardest part about working or breaking in to this business?
Designing is the easiest part and most fun part , the hardest part is to manage your cash flow and find good reliable factories who will work with your prints and designs and produce good quality clothing on time ! It is also hard to find the right retailers who can sell a fashion forward designer collection for plus , there just aren't many out there.
What are some of the things that you wish you could change about the industry?
Pre-conception of the media bout big women, lack of plus size photo shoots ( although this is getting so much better) , willingness of plus size customers to get out of their comfort zone and experiment with clothes , enjoy dressing up and willing to spend money on their looks.
What inspires you ?
Anything and everything. vintage markets, travels, my friends, people in the street, movies , nature.....it could be anything.
Tell me your best celeb story.
Hmmm I once had Alison Moyet and Dawn French in my office at the same time .. the strong personalities and witty conversations were fabulous...but I don't want to spill any beans
What has been your greatest professional moment? Have you had one? And what is Your worst professional moment?
Walking the first time into Harrods ( my first super-store customer) and seeing my collection displayed beautifully in its own corner.
Worst : moving office and my brand new office being flooded on day 3 of moving in... computers...fabrics.. so much ruined.

No. You always learn from your own mistakes the most.
